Courses we Deliver;

All courses are designed and delivered by XLE Safety & Training.

Accredited Event Steward

This course was developed to assist persons involved in stewarding events that do not hold SIA qualifications. This training is designed to develop the knowledge of volunteer stewards, to increase event safety. 

Students will be assessed throughout the course by observation and listening, also including a scenario-based group exercise.

This is a one-day, in person course, applicants must be 16 years old and above.

Event Organiser

This course was developed to ensure all organisers hold the same baseline training and knowledge of event planning and are consistent in their event management approach.

This course will provide organisers with a system of how to plan an event making it scalable for the level of event being delivered.

Key Areas will include, legal requirements, policy and what submission means, what is required in a plan and why, and more...

This is a one-day in person course, applicants must be within an event organiser role.

Accredited Road Marshal

Accredited Road Marshals can facilitate the safe passage of a cycle event on the open highway.

This is a simple, safe and cost-effective solution to traffic management for cycle events of the highway. 

Every Accredited Marshal will receive a LANTRA approved 'Accredited Road Marshal Scheme' certificate of competence.

ONLY trained and approved Accredited Road Marshals can lawfully deploy the 'STOP' sign. 

This is a one day course, applicants must be over the age of 16.

Accredited Moto Marshal

The Moto Marshall course will be the first of its kind in NI.

Applicants will be subject to completing 4 skills handling assessments before being permitted continuation on the course.

This course will cover Risk Assessment, Recce, Accredited Road Marshal presentation, a practice run and an assessed run.

To successfully complete the course, participants must show a high degree of safety, control and ability to respond to challenges.

This is a one-day, in person course, applicants must hold a valid motorcycle driving licence. â€‹
